ibiza1 Renaissance Walls:
The construction of the Renaissance walls of Ibiza is part of the modernization of the Mediterranean coastal defenses, led by Carlos I and Felipe II to uphold and defend the territories of the Spanish Crown in an era of wars with France and the Empire Ottoman. The door of monumental character, is flanked by two Roman statues and the arch of the entrance a large memorial stone with the arms of Philip II, the shield of the city and an inscription containing the date 1585.
ibiza2 Punic necropolis of Puig des Molins:
The Puig des Molins was the cemetery of the city of Ibiza throughout antiquity. It is located about 500 m west of Puig de Vila, where is located the city from its western Phoenicians founded by the late seventh century BC Its name derives from the existence of windmills at its peak since at least the fifteenth century, but today only the ruins remain, long disused, some of them.
ibiza3 Sa Caleta Phoenician:
Sa Caleta is the popular name of a port with docks for small craft booths of fishing, which is in the S-SW coast of Ibiza, between the extreme NW of the long beach is Codolar and Puig des Jondal. Right on the pier, is Sa Caleta Sa Mola. It is a peninsula which is also isolated from the mainland, by the bed of a deep stream which flows into the cove itself. The remains of this settlement were declared of cultural interest, with the rank of monument .. Finally, in December 1999 were declared a World Heritage Site.
 ibiza4 Natural Reserve of Ses Salines:
The Ses Salines Nature Reserve covers an extensive area between the south-west of the island of Ibiza and Formentera the northern and maritime space through to the bathymetric line 40 meters deep. Ses Salines represent a unique ecosystem of great value to both plant and animal biodiversity, which has been maintained through the use and rational exploitation of the salt with traditional techniques. On the other hand, play to perfection the role of balance and symbiosis between the cultural value of the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta, the forerunner of the ancient Dalt Vila civic life and the natural value of the Reserve itself with its unique ecosystems and grasslands Posidonia.
Dalt Vila (old town walls):
Paseo de Poniente: Project Calvi. A tour of the exhibition Renaissance bastions. Designed by the Italian engineer Calvi to protect the most defenseless of the city, can also be an important stretch of the medieval wall of Islamic origin. Urban Walk: Interior of Dalt Vila. To enjoy typical corners and narrow streets and discover the old town for that labyrinth of walled, medieval urban fabric with the simplicity of the architecture of Ibiza. Perimeter Walk: Allows the bypass of the city following the walk round the fortified while you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views over the sea, the city and harbor. Paseo de Levante: Fratín expansion. Stresses the grandeur of the bastions of Sant Joan and Santa Llúcia designed by Fratín, from whose ramparts is seen the outline of Dalt Vila, the neighborhoods outside the walls of Sa Peña, the Navy and the Port.
